Ball Valve, 3-way, Manual
Ball valves are very rugged and, depending on their size, can be used both in medium vacuum environments and at overpressures of up
to several tens of bars. The limiting factor is usually small-flange outlet connections, as the industry standard restricts their use to overpressures of 1.5 bar and less.
In this valve, a metal ball with a T or L-shaped through hole rotates in a Teflon seat.
Which outlets can be connected depends on the type of ball in the valve.
The lever has stops every 90°. The ball can be rotated through 360° and can easily be set to any of the four positions using the lever.
The holes are not free of overlap; adjacent ports are bypassed briefly while switching the ball position.
